St. Jacobs Farmers’ MarketSt. Jacobs Farmers’ Market

At the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market, we put the joy back in shopping. It’s more than the fantastic food and crafts you’ll find, it’s also the fun of discovering the bounty of things to see, taste, smell. For others, it’s the festive vibe, visiting their favourite vendors, and knowing where their food comes from that makes weekly trips to market so enjoyable.

Known as Canada’s largest year-round farmers’ market & flea market, you’ll find hundreds of local vendors inside three main buildings and in an outdoor area that swells as the growing season progresses.

Some items are brought to market by the truckload; other arrives by horse & buggy from local Old Order Mennonite farms: fresh local fruits and vegetables, quality meats and cheeses, locally-produced maple syrup, honey, preserves, baking, authentic cuisine from many cultures, imported produce, various gluten-free and organic options, local crafts, housewares, wearables, and more.

The St. Jacobs Market is well-loved for its ready-to-eat foods prepared on site too: Try some fresh apple fritters, sausage on a bun, donair kebab, pizza, souvlaki, sushi, falafel, to name only a few. Prepare to fill up and stock up when you visit the St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market & Flea Market.

Bring the kids! In season, say hello to small farm animals, enjoy some kiddie rides, or ride a heritage railway to nearby St. Jacobs. In summer months, you can also climb aboard a horse-drawn trolley and visit a nearby Old Order Mennonite farm and sugar bush.

The St. Jacobs Farmers’ Market is located in the Township of Woolwich, 3 km south of St. Jacobs.
