Region of Waterloo
The Region of Waterloo International Airport (YKF) is a full service modern facility supporting commercial, corporate and general aviation. The airport is centrally located in Breslau in the Township of Woolwich. Only 10 minutes away from the 401, the airport is within 20 minutes of Cambridge, Kitchener and Waterloo.
Passengers will enjoy the ease of flying from the Region of Waterloo International Airport to a number of destinations. WestJet provides non-stop daily service between Waterloo Region and Calgary, and weekly flights to Orlando, Florida. Sunwing Airlines provides weekly direct flights between Waterloo Region and Punta Cana, Dominican Republic from December through March. FlyGTA Airlines offers twice daily, 18 minute flights from Waterloo Region to Toronto City Airport. Fly aboard an eight-seat twin engine Piper Panther aircraft for travel to and from the GTA that is fast and stress-free.
YKF is easy to navigate. Passenger amenities include free wireless high-speed internet, bank machine, charging stations, and complimentary luggage carts. Local taxis, limousines and chartered buses provide ground transportation to and from the airport. Private cars can park at the 3 parking lots located at the airport. Car rentals are also available on site.
The Aviator Cafe by Edelweiss is a licensed sit-down dining area located in the airport. Open for all flights, this departure lounge café features daily specials, sandwiches and snacks that are approved to take on board flights. Please note that a valid Boarding Pass is required for entry to the café.
The airport is home to a number of aviation-related businesses including corporate aircraft charters, refuelling, air cargo, helicopter and aircraft flight training, avionics, customs clearance and hangar space.
