The Cambridge Ice Centre is located in the Cambridge Centre mall. It features an official National Hockey League sized ice rink that is home to daily public skating as well as private skating lessons and hockey games.

The Waterloo Memorial Recreation Complex (WMRC) offers a variety of recreational and rental opportunities with its arena, indoor pool, track and meeting rooms.
The complex features the Sun Life Financial Arena – an Olympic-size ice rink with seating for 3,400 and total spectator capacity of 4,400 people. The arena is home to the Waterloo Siskens Jr. B hockey team, and the Wilfrid Laurier University hockey teams. Amenities at the arena include large dressing rooms with showers, referee rooms, first aid room, press box, concession booths, lighting for television and event staging. The ice surface can be covered to accommodate performances, trade shows and other special events from the middle of August until the end of April.
The facility is also home to the Swimplex – an indoor swimming pool with a diving tower, waterslide and leisure/splash area. The pool features eight lanes and spectator seating for up to 300 people. There is a concession area, as well as a male, female and alternate-need change rooms. A full range of swimming and aquatic programs are offered for all ages.
The indoor track located on the upper level of the arena at WRMC is designed for all levels of runners and walkers. The windows surrounding the track allow users to enjoy the scenery of Waterloo Park while they exercise. The indoor track is open for free daily public use.
WRMC also has a number of meeting rooms and banquet facilities. The facility is fully licensed, air-conditioned, smoke free and wheelchair accessible. It is open seven days a week from 6 a.m. to midnight.
