The university has the perfect space for any event. Choose from venues that include classrooms, theatres, the Maureen Forrester Recital Hall, and University Stadium – an outdoor venue that has the capacity to hold 6,000 people.
At Hotel Laurier guests can choose from three different types of accommodations. The apartment style air-conditioned suites at Bricker Residence consists of four single bedrooms, two bathrooms, a living room, kitchen and dining area. Waterloo College Hall and the King Street Residence are newer air-conditioned single rooms with semi-private washroom facilities. Laurier also has a number of traditional dormitory style accommodations on campus that provide an economical, yet comfortable stay for guests. All residence buildings have coin-operated laundry facilities, pay phones, and a variety of small and large lounges for registration, meetings or social gatherings. While on campus, conference groups and individuals have the opportunity to use the university’s recreational facilities. Complimentary parking is available for conference guests staying in residence.
The recently renovated dining facility at Wilfrid Laurier can accommodate up to 400 guests. Vegetarian options are provided and most dietary restrictions can be accommodated. Meals are prepared by professional chefs and a variety of dining options are offered including buffets, banquets, marché dining and barbeques.
