Founded in 2014 by Matt White and Carin Lowerison, Green Light Arts (GLA) is a producing theatre company based in Waterloo Region. They deliver well-crafted, provocative theatrical projects and pair artistic programming with purposeful outreach events to deepen community conversations about the ideas we put on stage. Through rigorous professional practice, they uphold and further the artform of theatre. Through the artform of theatre, they enrich the social fabric of our community.
GLA delivers 2-4 theatrical productions each season; commissions and develops new plays; curates outreach programming; provides arts management services; and provides mentorship opportunities for emerging artists and arts administrators.
GLA is currently the interim operator of The Conrad Centre for the Performing Arts on behalf of the City of Kitchener and an affiliate member of the Professional Association of Canadian Theatres (PACT).
