Even as the weather begins to cool, there are still plenty of opportunities to enjoy dining al fresco
thanks to several heated patios in the Waterloo Region. As restaurants continue to adapt and
accommodate safe dining measures during the pandemic, many are extending their outdoor
seating and bringing in heaters and propane fire pits to prolong patio season well into winter.
This year, there are also some new dining experiences to try, with some eateries setting up heated
domes and greenhouses for you and your bubble to enjoy.
So layer up, head to a heated patio and continue to support our local restaurants and bars during
these chilly months.

VILLAGE BIERGARTEN

Village Biergarten in St. Jacobs has transformed its patio into a winterized wonderland with the
help of some heated outdoor dining domes. Dig into some Mexican cuisine in one of their cozy
private pods for the perfect night out. Each dome is rented out in 1 hour 45-minute blocks, but
plan ahead because they book up fast!
