September 13, 2020 – The winners of the Canadian Brewing Awards for 2020 were announced via an online streaming event, in lieu of the usual in-person gala.
The winning beers in all categories were selected in a series of blind tastings by a panel of BJCP-certified judges.
Kitchener’s Red Circle Brewing Co. won two awards at this year’s ceremony. It was awarded Gold in the North American Style – Blonde or Golden Ale category for its Belmont Village Blonde Ale, and Bronze in the Wood and Barrel-Aged Beer – Pale to Amber / Dark category for its Four Barrels Imperial Stout.
