January 15, 2020 – People who love to wield an axe will be making their way to Waterloo this spring.
The World Axe Throwing League has announced the 2020 Canadian Open will be held at Bad Axe Throwing, an axe throwing club in Waterloo.
128 participants are expected for the tournament, which will run from Apr. 24 to Apr. 26.
Mario Zelaya, president and CEO of Bad Axe Throwing, is excited the competition will give Waterloo region exposure across North America. The competition will be broadcast across Canada and the U.S. on TSN and ESPN.
