Toronto-born Jason Bangerter arrived at Langdon Hall in the fall of 2013 as executive chef of the Country House Hotel & Spa and winner of five AAA/CAA diamonds and Conde Nast Traveller magazine’s best hotel in Canada.
Langdon Hall Country House Hotel & Spa has been named a Finalist in the Culinary Tourism category at the 2019 Canadian Tourism Awards. The Culinary Tourism Award is presented to the tourism business or organization that delivers an authentic consumer experience showcasing Canadian food and beverage.
The restaurant at Langdon Hall is led by award-winning Executive Chef Jason Bangerter, renowned for his incredible Five-Diamond dining experiences and menus inspired by foods from Waterloo Region. Surrounded by a “sense of place” at Langdon Hall, he instills a culinary philosophy influenced by the gardens, bees, forest and local producers that surround his kitchen.
Winners will be announced at the Canadian Tourism Awards on November 20, 2019 at the Westin Hotel in Ottawa.
