August 27th, 2019 – Spectrum can be described as an interactive, immersive and even instagrammable experience at THEMUSEUM.

Despite the seemingly never-ending ION construction in downtown Kitchener, THEMUSEUM saw 89,000 visitors during their fiscal year which ended in June, making 2019 their second busiest year since opening.

David Marskell, CEO of THEMUSEUM, credits the growth of attendance to this year’s brand new exhibit (Spectrum) which opened in January.

“It’s successful in that all demographics are coming. Young adults, families are enjoying it in the summertime, right now. Even on Thursdays when we market to mature adult seniors, they’re enjoying it. It’s been very, very successful for us and we’ve decided to extend it.

Spectrum will now be available for viewing for an entire year, continuing until January 2020.
