Terry Salmond is one Waterloo Region’s best loved chefs – and that was before he took us to the very edge of our seats as runner-up of Food Network television’s “Top Chef Canada” in season four. But Salmond is also a culinary entrepreneur who teaches kids cooking and kitchen skills and sells his fabulous “Chow Dumplings” – among other projects that he has in store for the Region.
We asked Salmond a few quick-response questions:
Explore Waterloo Region: Chef you’d most like to meet?
Terry Salmond: Marcus Samuelsson
EWR: Who would you like to cook for most?
TS: My dad.
EWR: Best thing about being a chef?
TS: Once the tough stuff is over, you can pretty much do what you want.
