Christmas in Cambridge
Christmas in Cambridge is a festival of events held annually to celebrate the holiday season. The festival involves several separate activities that are spread out from late November to late December.
Township of Wilmot
The Baden Corn Festival is a one-day outdoor event held every summer to promote and support local food producers, and celebrate the Township of Wilmot’s agricultural roots.
Organized by the Baden Community Association, it features a wide variety of free activities for the whole family to enjoy, including a scavenger hunt and live animal displays. Families can participate in a decathlon of athletic activities with a farm theme. There is also a free Kid Zone with inflatables and horse and wagon rides to the nearby Castle Kilbride, Baden’s National Historic Site. Be sure to check out the car show, as well as the antique farm tractors on display, and tours can be arranged to view the historic Baden Mill.
For those who prefer locally sourced food, vendor booths are set up throughout the festival for local food producers to promote their products. You can also get your day off to a great start with the firefighter’s breakfast.
Money raised from the festival goes to the Baden Community Association, which uses the proceeds to improve and beautify the community.
