There’s no need to worry if you’re new to axe throwing. Their online tutorial gives visitors plenty of information and helpful tips on how to grip and throw an axe. For example, it’s best to start with lightweight hatchet rather than a big sharp axe. Also, always make sure the blade isn’t rotated to the left or right. It should be perfectly straight in order to ensure a straight trajectory. Additionally, each event booked is assigned a designated axe throwing coach to walk you through the entire process!
All axes are provided and an orientation is given at the beginning of each session which covers safety, technique, and how to maximize fun! There is no age limit, but all participants must be strong enough to properly throw the axe.
For regular axe throwers, Bad Axe Throwing offers an 8-week axe throwing league that guarantees at least 40 competitive throws per night. Scores are kept for the first 7 weeks, and then the top 8 players move on to compete for the title of Axe Throwing League Champion at the Championship Tournament in week 8. Availability on the league is limited, so be sure to reserve a spot online.
Visitors can book a visit or order a gift card by filling out an online booking request (be sure to select either “Book Today” or “Gift Card”). Availability is limited, so booking in advance is recommended. Walk-in times are available periodically, and are posted online for each location.
Only credit card payments are accepted at this time.
