City of Kitchener
B@THEMUSEUM is located in Downtown Kitchener, operating in partnership with THEMUSEUM. They offer food, drinks, and live music. The name is intended to convey the concept of being something, and the style is repeated in other places, such as their menus, which have titles such as B…Intrigued and B…Thirsty. The name is also a tribute to their parent company, B Hospitality.
The restaurant has both indoor and patio dining. Their drink menu features red wine, white wine, and craft beer, as well as vodka, gin, tequila, and moonshine from the local Murphy’s Law Distillery. B@THEMUSEUM has ten taps that have local beers on rotation. The rotating food menu is diverse and often includes soup, salad, dumplings, cheese boards, sandwiches, tacos, and pasta. Most of the food options can be turned into a vegetarian, vegan, or gluten-free. Other dietary restrictions can also often be accommodated. Many of their menu items are organic or locally sourced. B@THEMUSEUM also serves brunch, which includes omelettes and “b.enedict,” french toast, sandwiches, and tempeh hash.
B@THEMUSEUM has also offered a free holiday meal in the past for those in need. Occurring each year in late November, the restaurant served over 100 people in 2015. The Cambridge Hotel and Conference Centre was their partner in this event, and the meal consisted of traditional holiday food: turkey, mashed potatoes, and more.
